Open Day at the Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA)


Open Day at the Australian Defence Force Academy (ADFA) is an ideal opportunity for you to experience first-hand this unique, world class training and educational facility. If you are interested in combining a challenging and exciting career in the Australian Defence Force with a degree then you should come along and find out more.
It is your chance to see a range of exciting displays by the Navy, Army and Air Force and learn everything you need to know about life at ADFA.
Defence and University staff will be on hand providing careers and course information. ADFA Navy Midshipmen and Army and Air Force Officer Cadets will also be available to talk to you about life at ADFA. They can give you a first-hand account of their military and academic studies and experience.
ADFA Midshipmen and Officer Cadets will also navigate the above-pool obstacle course, abseil down the side of a building. You will also be entertained by live music during the day.

Time: 9.00 am until 4.00 pm
Location: ADFA, Northcott Drive in Campbell, ACT. 
Transport: DFR Parramatta will be providing a free bus which will leave from Defence Force Recruiting, 9 George Street Parramatta at 7am and will return at 6pm.
