More Uni Stuff...
Just put some more University information in the library.

P.s there is going to be lots of uni guides coming in over the next couple of months, as universities update their course guides ready for 2011.
Gap Year with Lattitude

THINK: Education Group
Just received a new pile of booklets from the THINK: education group. These guys run Billy Blue design college, APM college of business and a host of other private colleges that perform to a super high standard. Please go check them out in the library, some great options for after school.

New Stuff in the Library
Added a few brochures to the library pile today.
One for University of Sydney Business, Another for ACU and another for Gap Year Opportunities.

For the Girls
If you are a girl between the ages of 15 and 18, then the camden council is running something you may be interested in.
Safe & Pretty, is a 2 day training event that aims to support young women as they enter the workforce, focussing on hair, beauty, community and personal safety issues in regards to the work force.
The event is scheduled to take place over two days, monday the 12th and tuesday the 13th of April, at About Face Hair & Beauty as well as Narellan Library.
The course is FREE, but you need to attend a pre course interview.

Hello
I have been busy updating the blog with some extra useful information for you.
On the right you can now find different pages with various info, the common links page has a bunch of links to websites that can be of great use to you when thinking about careers, ill keep adding more to this, so check it every now and then.
The second page there will eventually have documents that you will need at various time throughout the year, things like work experience documents, permission slips and other relevant documents. Check this one when it's needed.
I will be adding some more posts today as i get onto a few things.

SMH Careers Expo
Hey Guys
The Sydney Morning Herald is a great place to find employment, they advertise all sorts of jobs regularly and their careers section in the paper is definitely one of the best.
These guys host a careers expo each year at randwick racecourse. It's an expo thats well worth checking out.
I have some tickets if you would like them. Just come see me, but please ensure that if you take tickets, you will attend, otherwise ill keep them for someone who is.
